She works as an Associate Medical Officer of Health for Toronto Public Health specializing in Vaccine Preventable Diseases. She also works as an emergency medicine physician outside the GTA. Dr. Dubey holds an Adjunct Professor appointment with the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health.

We are thrilled to be joined by Dr. Julie Wolfson, Associate Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Wolfson is a member of the team responsible for the Pediatric Oncology COVID-19 Case (POCC) Report. The aim of the POCC Report is to "describe and disseminate, in real-time, the evolving clinical course of children, adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with cancer and infected with SARS-CoV-2 and/or have received a COVID-19 vaccine via two national database registries so that we can better help clinicians take care of these patients during an evolving pandemic." This Medical Town Hall is appropriate for any COCA members looking to understand more about the mental, emotional, and social health (MESH) of children with cancer.
We are thrilled to be joined by Dr. Karen Long-Traynor! Dr. Long-Traynor is a clinical psychologist at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey where she leads an interdisciplinary psychosocial team. This team is focused on delivering direct psychosocial care to children/adolescents with cancer or a blood disorder as well as their families. Dr. Long-Traynor is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Long-Traynor will discuss MESH factors of children with cancer, the impact of the pandemic, and the type of support camps can offer.
