The Gold Ribbon Accreditation program is an education program intended to help COCA member camp organizations identify policies and practices, specific to their setting and population, that are documented and delivered in the course of providing a medically and emotionally safe pediatric oncology camp experience.
This session is the Gold Ribbon Accreditation Training for the 2023 Camps who will have their Accreditation visit this year. Training consists of defining Gold Ribbon Accreditation, its benefits, Accreditation process, goals and expectations of an on-site camp visit, communication between the camp and the visitors, and instructions on how to use the online portal for document uploads. This educational training is by invitation to the 2023 Camps to be visited.
