February Town Hall 1: The Future of Camp-Summer 2021 Plans

Wednesday, February 10, 2021, 08:00pm - 09:00pm
(All times in Eastern Time)

COCA-I recognizes the importance in bringing our community together to discuss the COVID virus and its affect on our in person Camps and programs. Therefore, this month, we will host two Town Hall sessions to discuss this topic.

"Does our Organization host in person Camp this summer or do we provide virtual programs again?" - This is everyone's mind.

How do you answer this question?

We recognize that every camp is different, so this session will focus on the questions you need to ask - not the answers. What are those questions, who do you include, what are the reliable sources to review.

Join us as we feature Sally Hale, Executive Director of Camp Sunshine, Georgia, Ryan Campbell, Camp Director of Happiness is Camping, NJ and Brian Crater, Associate Executive Director of Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, CA who are taking that 'deep dive' to work and define the questions they need to ask their staff, Board, medical community and families to determine if they should host in person Camp this summer. We will also consider other important items before those questions can be answered.
