Join Sarah Smithson as she helps COCA-I kick off the first of three, Inside the Box sessions! Sarah is the Director of Outreach Programs at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, CT. In this session, Sarah will discuss their experience with camp care packages: what they've done, what they're going to do, and how they do it! We’ll also spend time brainstorming ideas, and, of course, have time for questions.

Sarah Smithson has been involved with The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp since volunteering in 1995. She was inspired by the book I will sing life: Stories from The Hole in the Wall and called Camp to see how she could become involved. She worked as a counselor in the summer program for several summers while completing her undergraduate degree at Connecticut College and joined the Camp year-round team in 2001 as the Director of Volunteers. Sarah has had the opportunity to create and develop several programs over her time at Hole in the Wall from the Alumni Program to Camp’s newest mobile program, CampOut. She is currently the Director of Outreach
