(All times in Eastern Time)

This Medical Town Hall is appropriate for any COCA members looking to understand more about the mental, emotional, and social health (MESH) of children with cancer.

We are thrilled to be joined by Dr. Karen Long-Traynor! Dr. Long-Traynor is a clinical psychologist at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey where she leads an interdisciplinary psychosocial team. This team is focused on delivering direct psychosocial care to children/adolescents with cancer or a blood disorder as well as their families. Dr. Long-Traynor is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Long-Traynor will discuss MESH factors of children with cancer, the impact of the pandemic, and the type of support camps can offer.
